Introduction
This manual is your complete setup and safe riding guide for the eevee’s Cypress Electric Scooter. It is essential to read and understand all instructions, operations, and safety precautions before operating your scooter, as failure to do so can result in serious injury or death. This guide covers what’s in the box, how to assemble your scooter, an overview of its parts and display, folding instructions, and critical safety information.
What’s in the Box
When you unbox your new Cypress, you will find the following items:
- Cypress Electric Scooter
- 2.0A Charger
- Charging Cable
- Multi Tool
- 4 Screws
- QR code disc for the manual
Setting Up Your Cypress

Follow these steps to assemble your scooter safely. Your new scooter is heavy, so it is best to have a second person help you lift it from the box.
- Position the Scooter: Place your Cypress on flat ground and use the kickstand to balance it upright. Do not set it up on a steep hill.
- Secure the Stem: Lift the stem until it is fully upright. Secure it in the riding position by sliding the stem securing collar down until it is firmly against the stem base. Tighten the 3 rotating buckles until it takes significant pressure to push the collar’s locking bracket snug against the collar.
-
WARNING: Always ensure the stem securing collar is fully tightened and secure before riding to prevent the stem from folding while in use.
-
- Connect the Handlebars: Pull the main wire out from the stem and connect it to the wire in the handlebars. Place the handlebars on top of the stem, ensuring the headlight is facing forward and the controls are facing you.
- Secure the Handlebars: Use the included multi-tool to screw in the 4 supplied screws. Insert the top 2 screws first, followed by the bottom 2 screws. Do not insert the screws one side at a time.
Cypress Overview & Display
The manual includes sections for a “Cypress Overview” and “Display Overview,” which provide a visual guide to the parts of your scooter and the information shown on its display. While the specific details are not included in the text, these sections would typically illustrate components like the throttle, brakes, lights, and the digital readout showing speed, battery level, and riding mode.
Folding & Unfolding Your Cypress
To fold your scooter stem down for easy transport, pull the stem securing collar bracket away from the stem. This allows the stem to lower. To unfold, reverse the process and ensure the stem is fully secured before riding.
Troubleshooting & Common Problems
| Problem | Likely Cause | What to Try |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter won’t turn on | Battery completely drained | Charge the scooter fully using the supplied 2.0A charger. |
| Stem feels loose | Securing collar not tight | Re-tighten the 3 rotating buckles on the stem until the collar is snug and secure. |
| Reduced range | Under-inflated tires, hills, or cold weather | Check tire pressure. Ride in a lower power mode. Battery performance decreases in cold temperatures. |
| Display not working | Wiring connection issue | Check that the main wire from the stem is securely connected to the handlebar wire. |
